VIII Seminar on Legal and Institutional Translation for International Organisations (IOs)

Seminar on relevant aspects of legal translation given by eminent experts and professors from various universities, including Salamanca, to be held during mornings Monday to Friday. Afternoons for teaching assistance, round table discussions, practical advice and lectures on translation given or conducted by all IOs participants aimed at Salamanca translation (and interpreting) students.
Primarily for IO staff translators with some experience; also open to conference interpreters, preferably with translation experience and interested in the subject if space is available.
The participants will be invited to:
1. collaborate with members of the host institution’s teaching staff on training workshops for interpreting and translation students and / or
2. hold presentations on the practice of interpreting and translation at their home institutions for students and staff. at the Department of Translation and Interpreting.
