NAT: Resources for Arabic Interpreters
PD aimed at Arabic language interpreters
Arabic is spoken by over 422 million people worldwide. In this professional development session the presenter will provide the participants with some valuable resources in legal, medical and community interpreting. The aim is to create a network of interpreters who strive to improve their language skills and contribute to best interpreting practice.
Presenter:
Dina Kerr has a telecommunication and software engineering background. She had the pleasure of completing a Masters degree in Social Sciences (Translating and Interpreting Studies) in 2010 and has been practising as an interpreter and translator ever since. She currently teaches Arabic Interpreting to the students of Diploma and Advanced Diploma at RMIT.
