Know Your Worth: Intelligent Note Taking for Consecutive Interpreting

- Have you ever looked at your page, and realized you have no idea what any of the notes you took mean?
- Have you ever blanked on the speech you are interpreting, and have no idea how to get back into the flow?
This two-day seminar with Julia Poger will give you all the tools you need to be able to successfully interpret consecutively for longer than you had thought possible. We will begin by understanding the theory and brain work underlying any interpretation, then move on to what makes consecutive different from other forms of interpreting. By the end of the course, attendees will be able to interpret increasingly lengthy interventions using memory, analysis and notes.
Training is in English, and is not language specific.
The course includes lecture, demonstrations and some exercises, small group work, and practice.
