DQF Spotlight Series: How to use DQF in SDL Trados Studio

DQF Spotlight Series: How to use DQF in SDL Trados Studio

Through plugins in translation tools, DQF collects production and quality review data and generates extensive and detailed reports. It provides vital data that tells you whether your technology investments are paying off, whether you are on a par with similar companies and operators, or if there is a problem with an engine, a vendor or the data you have been using. It ensures full transparency about the time spent on different activities and projects. You see the outliers immediately, so you can start debugging your workflow by zooming in on more detailed reports.

So far, one of the most popular DQF plugin has been the one for SDL Trados Studio. It is easy to set up and use, and it offers the flexibility to enable it only for projects where it makes the most sense. The latest plugin release allows you to make use of the analytics without sharing the translation data – only the relevant metadata and calculations get sent to TAUS, and not the actual translation content (neither source nor target).

Are you a user of Trados Studio looking for a single solution for translation productivity and quality analytics? Join us in this webinar where we show you how to use the DQF plugin in the most optimal way and how to leverage the reports on the DQF Dashboard.

We will use the one hour to go through the following with you:

  1. Plugin demo: How do you go from downloading the DQF plugin to fully leveraging the DQF functionalities and the data on the Dashboard?

  2. New features in the plugin – time tracking and metadata-only option.

  3. Q & A session.
